Fred “The Hammer” Williamson’s Top Five Westerns of All Time


If you’ll recall, Fred “The Hammer” Williamson got his nickname as a pro football player in the ’60s, when he vowed to “hammer” his opponents out of the game. Since then, he’s channeled that vigor into an impressive acting career. He’s been in a series of blaxploitation films and played an African-American mobster in Black Caesar, but you probably know him best as a biker in the quasi-Western vampire film From Dusk Till Dawn.
