The Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) have announced their nominees for the 2010 Golden Reel Awards, which recognizes excellence in sound and music editing, and Avatar is up for yet another clutch of prizes. James Cameron’s spectacle will be competing for Best Sound Editing: Sound Effects and Foley in a Feature Film; Best Sound Editing: Dialogue and ADR in a Feature Film and Best Sound Editing: Music in a Feature Film. Star Trek is also a contender in the same categories.

The nominations in the film categories are as follows:
