To find out why Morgan Freeman (who was the film’s executive producer and plays Mandela — an idea he flirted with for quite some time) thought that this was the right story to tell about the world-famous advocate of nonviolent social change, to hear what Mandela told Eastwood upon learning that he was directing the film, what Matt Damon learned while acting in this true story, and to meet the real-life rugby player at the center of this tale, watch my Opening Night report on AMC at 8PM | 7C tonight.
