Slumdog Millionaire continued to pick up pre-Oscar steam with its best ensemble win at the 15th annual SAG awards. (The movie received the PGA prize the evening before.) Other top SAG honors went to Sean Penn (Milk) and Meryl Streep (Doubt). Heath Ledger was posthumously recognized for his work on The Dark Knight — the first actor to have been so. Co-star Gary Oldman accepted the honors on Ledger’s behalf.

Among the winners in the TV categories, AMC’s Mad Men won the prize for drama ensemble.
