Genre fans are going to have a busy year in 2008. In the next few months we’re getting sequels to some of the biggest names in fantasy and sci-fi adventure. Names like Scully, Banner, Spock, Wayne, and Marion Ravenwood.
Sequels are often a crap shoot (Studios give directors money to shoot crap, ha-ha) and fans are just as often disappointed.
Meanwhile, there are some promising indie-movies coming our way. (I’m excited to report that after several delays, Fanboys is getting a proper release. The movie follows a group of friends in 1999, eagerly anticipating Star Wars: Episode I. They are determined to screen the movie for a friend who is dying.)
