Most people think of Law and Order as a popular TV series about detectives — but it’s also the name of a classic 1953 western starring Ronald Reagan. Law and Order (airing Saturday on AMC ) stars the future president alongside Dorothy Malone.
In the film, Reagan plays marshal Frame Johnson who cleans up the town of Tombstone and tries to settle down on a ranch in nearby Cottonwood – only to be forced to clean up Cottonwood too. The plot sounds a bit like what would become Reagan’s foreign policy posture as president.
Some say the greatest role Ronald Reagan ever played was President of the United States, but there are plenty of rivals for that honor. Which classic movie do you think featured Ronald Reagan’s greatest role? Take our poll, or let us know in a comment.
