Jamie Bell Talks Acting; TURN Renewed for Third Season

This week, TURN: Washington’s Spies is renewed for a third season. Plus, Jamie Bell sits down with Interview Magazine to talk about his process as an actor. Read on for more:

• In a piece for Interview Magazine, Jamie Bell explains that, “Whenever I’m there on set, I always really try my best. I always put everything into it. I really enjoy the process.”

The Hollywood Reporter shares the good news of TURN’s renewal, sharing AMC president Charlie Collier’s statement on how, “TURN continues to attract a dedicated audience across multiple platforms, and it has carved out a meaningful space in AMC’s ‘eclectic by design’ programming palette.”

The Progress Index reports the show will return to Virginia for Season 3, and in a statement, Virginia’s Governor Terry McAuliffe’s said, “I am proud to welcome TURN back to the commonwealth for a third season of filming. The first two seasons were a gripping recreation of one of the most significant eras in American history.”

Intermountain Jewish News notes that TURN: Washington’s Spies “brilliantly depicts this deep rift that cut across colonial society, ripping apart fathers from sons, houses truly divided.”
