EW Eager for Season 2; Craig Silverstein Talks New Season, Debuts New Poster

This week, Entertainment Weekly is eager for Season 2, while Craig Silverstein talks about the new season to EW. Plus, TV After Dark features a new trailer. Read on for more:

Entertainment Weekly is looking forward to the April 13 return of TURN: Washington’s Spies, noting that, in Season 2, “we finally get to meet Benedict Arnold, the rebels’ most famous—and not yet infamous—soldier.”

• Craig Silverstein tells Entertainment Weekly (which also features a poster for the new season) that Season 2 Abe is “sort of doubling down. Not to say that there won’t be obstacles in his way. He’s willing to risk everything basically.”

TV After Dark spotlights a Season 2 trailer and notes, “In Season 2, as Abe becomes more committed to the Culper Ring activities, George Washington battles personal demons and betrayal from within his ranks that threaten not only his leadership but the fate of the revolution.”

• Virginia’s WVTF talks to Angus Macfadyen about filming a version of Macbeth in Richmond with the help of students from Virginia Commonwealth University.

TheaterMania.com reports that Switzerland, a play starring Laura Linney and Seth Numrich, had its world premiere this week at Los Angeles’ Geffen Playhouse.

TV Media Insights reports that Season 1 will hit Netflix on Mar. 25. Also, Game & Guide points out that all of Season 1 is now available to watch on AMC’s website.
