The Walking Dead, Norman Reedus Receive Saturn Award Nominations

The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror have announced the nominees for this year’s 38th annual Saturn Awards, and The Walking Dead was honored with a nod for Best Presentation on Television as well as a Best Supporting Actor nomination for Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon).

The Walking Dead‘s nominations are among 12 garnered by AMC this year, with Breaking Bad receiving 6 nominations and The Killing netting 4 across categories like Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series, Best Actor on Television and Best Actress on Television.

Competing with The Walking Dead for Best Presentation will be Starz’ Camelot and Torchwood, TNT’s Falling Skies, The Science Channel’s Trek Nation, HBO’s Game of Thrones and AMC’s own The Killing.

Competing with Reedus for the Best Supporting Actor prize will be Torchwood‘s Bill Pullman, Game of Thrones‘ Kit Harrington and Fringe‘s John Noble as well as Giancarlo Esposito and Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad, and Joel Kinnaman from The Killing.

The 38th annual Saturn Awards will take place on Wed., Jun. 20.
