The Walking Dead Receives Critics’ Choice Nomination

On Mon., Jun. 6 the The Broadcast Television Journalists Association announced their nominees for the first-ever Critics’ Choice Television Awards, and The Walking Dead was honored with a nod in the Best Drama Series category.

The nomination is one of nine garnered by AMC this year, including two additional Best Series nods for Mad Men and The Killing as well as acting nominations for Jon Hamm (Mad Men), Mireille Enos (The Killing) and more.

Competing with AMC’s dramas for the series award will be HBO’s Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones, FX’s Justified, CBS’s The Good Wife, Showtime’s Dexter and DirecTV’s Friday Night Lights.

The awards will be presented at a luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Mon., Jun. 20..
