In 1915 south Texas, the McCulloughs represent power and wealth. Underneath, they’re fighting to keep their empire afloat.
“Because he’s lived the life he’s lived, he knows that everything changes, and everything falls apart,” Pierce Brosnan says about his character, Eli McCullough, in an all-new video about the series’ first episode.
After seeing his cattle business lose money, Eli makes an aggressive push toward oil — but his son Pete isn’t so sure.
“Pete feels that it’s imperative that he does speak up and he does try to assert his power on the situation and not just take the lead from Eli,” explains Henry Garrett, who plays Pete.
