Huffington Post Says The Killing Is Saving TV, TV.com Calls It “Worth Watching”

This week, The Huffington Post proclaimed that The Killing is saving television, TV.com praised both the show and series star Mireille Enos, and there was more Emmy nomination speculation for Enos, Joel Kinnaman, Brent Sexton and Michelle Forbes. Read on for more:

The Huffington Post took a look at how The Killing is “saving television,” calling the series “television at its best: great storytelling with twists and turns that roller coastered the audience on a weekly basis and characters that defied prediction and easy judgment.”

• In a comparison with the much-loved original Danish series it’s based on, TV.com deemed The Killing “worth watching” and called Mirelle Enos “excellent.”

• Alabama’s Press-Register said Emmy nominations are “inevitable” for Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman, and “likely” for Brent Sexton and Michelle Forbes.

The Akron Beacon Journal assured a concerned reader that “the second season will reveal Rosie’s killer.”

The Guardian made note of The Killing‘s pickup by Britain’s Channel 4.
