THR, TV.com, Others Feature New Trailer; Behind-the-Scenes Video at Yahoo TV

This week, new videos for The Killing, including a four-minute long trailer, were picked up by The Hollywood Reporter and TV.com among many, many others. The media also made note of the launch of AMC’s “How Would You Be Cast in a Crime Thriller?” quiz. Read on for details.

The Hollywood Reporter highlighted The Killing‘s new four-minute trailer, remarking, “AMC has another drama series launching next month that should keep you intrigued.” Watching the trailer prompted TV.com to call The Killing “a show that has the potential to be unlike anything else currently on TV,” while Movieline believes the series “looks to raise the bar on the [murder mystery] genre for good.” UGO.com thinks “AMC may have another mega-hit on their hands…”, and Collider.com agrees, saying, “Looks like AMC has another great show on their hands.” The trailer is labeled “super-suspenseful” by TV Squad and “moody and creepy” by VeryAware.com. Warming Glow jokes about a CBS executive’s reaction to the trailer. The trailer was also featured by Deadline Hollywood and Examiner.com.

Seriable and Yahoo TV both spotlighted a behind-the-scenes video, Inside The Killing: Turning the Crime Drama on its Head.
