Vulture Commends Jon Hamm; A.V. Club Has 3-D Rendering of Sterling Cooper

This week, Vulture commends Jon Hamm, while A.V. Club has a 3-D rendering of Sterling Cooper. Plus, TVLine checks out Hamm on SpongeBob. Read on for more:

Vulture commends Jon Hamm for reinventing himself since he played Don. He’s been “able to reshape his image a bit as a comedic person, from 30 Rock to Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt to Bridesmaids. He’s kind of embraced this persona to the point where I think you are able to see him beyond Don Draper.”

A.V. Club spotlights high-resolution 3-D renderings of popular TV workplaces, noting that “you can practically smell the sad, whiskey-fueled sexual aggression in this bird’s-eye view of Mad Men’s Sterling Cooper.”

TVLine has a sneak peek of Jon Hamm’s turn on SpongeBob SquarePants, declaring, “Mad Men fans still experiencing withdrawal symptoms are about to find relief from an unlikely — not to mention absorbent and yellow and porous — source.”

Digital Spy thinks viewers should have seen Lane’s death coming because “Season 5 was packed with death / suicide references, alongside lines of morbid dialogue that only really made sense if someone was getting ready to meet their maker.”
