In the wake of Season 1, Lydia's ambitions have humbled. Lydia begins the season as a reluctant member of Penrith's Totemist commune, struggling to adapt to her new station in life. But after losing everyone she loves and realizing that she's always been at the mercy of powerful men, Lydia reignites her ruthless instincts in order to exact revenge for those she has lost. However, over the course of the season, Lydia's emotional journey forces her to ask whether vengeance or love is the better path.
Orla Brady began her career on stage in Dublin and London before moving to the United States. Her films include A Love Divided, for which she won Best Actress at the Monte Carlo Festival. She also starred in Silent Grace, How About You, 32A and The Luzhin Defence. She has recently played pioneering architect and designer Eileen Gray in the film The Prince of Desire, and a political player in The Foreigner.
Brady starred in the BBC series Mistresses for its three seasons. Further television credits include BBC's Wallander, The Deep, Pure Wickedness and Out of the Blue, Sky's Strikeback, RTE's Proof and TF1's Jo. Her most recent European work was Jimmy McGovern's Banished for BBC2. In the U.S., she has appeared as Elizabeth Bishop in Fringe for FOX, as Claire Stark in Shark for CBS, in Nip/Tuck for FX, and most recently as Sophia Tsaldari in NBC's American Odyssey.
