humans-season-2-ed-palladio-800×600
  • Ed is a decent man in a difficult position. He's put his life on hold to care for his mother, Diane, who suffers from early onset dementia. Which means taking on the failing family business, a seaside café, that's losing money fast. Ed's kind, talented, charming — wasted in this life, going nowhere. But as a dutiful son, he feels he has no choice. Nor does he have anyone to talk to — unless you count the Synth he hires for a few hours a day to help out around the café. He can feel himself growing closer to the machine. Is it just his loneliness? Or is it something more?

  • Raised by his artist parents in Cornwall, a small beach town outside of London, Sam Palladio stayed nearby to pursue his career as a performer, studying theatre and music at Rose Bruford Drama College where he later graduated.

After graduating, Palladio found himself showcasing his talents in the original cast for the musical Dreamcoats & Petticoats, touring the UK before bringing it into London’s West End.

His television credits include the role as Stoke in Seasons Two, Three and Four of the Showtime hit Episodes, starring Matt LeBlanc.  Additionally, he’s had appearances on the UK small screen on shows Doctors and The Hour.

Palladio earned critical attention when he appeared in the 2012 television pilot Nashville.  His performance in the soulful rendition of “If I Didn’t Know Better” immediately captivated audiences and ignited his music career.  He performs on the soundtracks of both Season One and Two, which at press time had sold over two million individual tracks.

Previously, Palladio appeared in the film Runner, Runner opposite Justin Timberlake, Ben Affleck and Gemma Arterton.  He recently lent his voice to play the lead role of the Prince in the Walt Disney/Lucas Films animated picture Strange Magic, opposite Evan Rachel Wood.

Palladio also performs and writes his own music, plays the guitar, drums and piano, and is currently shooting Season Five of Nashville.
