Colm Meaney on Playing Durant; Tom Noonan’s Many Roles in New Movie

This week, Colm Meaney talks to the Belfast Telegraph about playing Durant. Plus, Tom Noonan gets attention for playing all the secondary characters in his new movie. Read on for more:

• Colm Meaney tells the Belfast Telegraph, “Durant has been a great creation and a great character. I’ve enjoyed playing him and he’s the kind of historical, articulate guy I was looking for.”

Indiewire, reviewing Anomalisa, says the movie’s “most superb and savvy device, or one of many anyhow, is the inspired choice of having Tom Noonan voice every character in the film that isn’t Stone or Lisa, furthering the theme of the everyman as dull-as-nails pedestrian.”

Crave Online adds, “Tom Noonan is playing all the other characters. It’s not just because Tom Noonan is awesome, although that alone would be a perfectly acceptable reason.”
