Nick’s first action as a leader led everyone into a trap, and their deadly encounter with a militia group has scattered members of the Colonia throughout Tijuana. Having finally embraced the living and found hope, he quickly finds a darker, more desperate world at the end of Season 2. Nick has grown up considerably. Save for the brief moment that he thought he was bringing something good to Luciana and her people, he's been knocked back and no longer feels immortal. The spirituality he sought at the Colonia may or may not exist, and he’s going to have to rebound going into Season 3.
