At the podcast, Walt tells Kevin about a customer who came into the shop and challenged his knowledge of a character…

At the Stash, a customer shares her love for J'Onn J'Onzz and asks for a closer look at the Martian Manhunter mini bust on display. Walt deems the character “just a skinny Hulk with a pair of red suspenders.” The customer defends the character and explains why he’s so underrated. Walt wants $65 for the bust, then lowers his ask to $60 when the customer suggests $40. Walt admires her passion and settles on $50.

After donating blood to a blood bank, Ming convinces the guys to host a blood drive at the shop. They talk logistics and Walt's interest is piqued when Ming mentions a celebrity guest who’d be in attendance – Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. "The streets of Red Bank will be flowing in blood!" exclaims Walt. “It’ll give the name Red Bank a whole new meaning,” Bryan adds.

The guys dress up in celebration of the blood drive – Walt as Dracula, Ming as a mosquito, Mike as the vampire Cassidy from the comic Preacher, and Bryan as Stephen King’s Carrie. Elvira arrives and is shown to her throne that the guys decorated just for her. They chat about her relationship with the comic world and her favorite horror films. Walt is queasy at the idea of donating his blood, but plans to give all donors a discount on anything they buy at the shop.

A customer walks in with an interest in a Tom Servo replica, from the sci-fi comedy series Mystery Science Theater 3000. Walt wants $400 for the piece, but the customer isn't willing to go that high and comes back at $250. Walt suggests $350, but eventually lets it go for $300.

The blood drive is in full swing at the Secret Stash with customers lined up to donate blood, buy discounted merchandise, and pose for photos with Elvira. The guys have unsuccessfully persuaded Walt to donate blood, but Elvira promises a special present just for Walt if he's willing to reconsider. She offers a signed copy of her brand new book and Walt is sold immediately. They head out to the bloodmobile together.

"Dracula himself gave up blood!" proclaims Kevin. "Like they say on Krypton… blood bonds us all.”
