Season 3, Episode 5
Pity the Fools
A superfan sells his Mr. T backyard water game and inspires Ming to have some cool fun on a hot day. Walt puts the shop's street cred on the line.
At Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash, a seller with a mohawk comes in looking to sell Mr. T's Water War, a 1983 backyard water toy. After calling in pop culture expert Robert Bruce to help assess its value, Walt purchases the toy. Eager to play with it, Ming later convinces Bryan and Mike to hook up a hose to the Mr. T's Water War, put on their bathing suits (Ming's is an orange speedo) and have a water fight in the Stash’s parking lot. Separately, Walt declines an offer to buy a nearly-complete set of Marvel Trading Cards, which he and Kevin once personally coveted and collected. The cards are now valueless, so Walt sends the seller away with some additional Marvel cards that have been collecting dust at the Stash since 1997 for no charge. Walt also purchases mint-condition Teddy Ruxpin and Grubby talking toys from a self-admitted hoarder, and sells a Lady Death plaque to a woman dressed in a revealing Aquawoman costume who plans to give the plaque as a gift at the cosplay birthday party she’s headed to. When Bryan offers to "chaperone" the party, she accepts, and the two of them leave the store together.
