Breaking Bad Nominated for Two Location Manager’s Guild Awards

Breaking Bad has received two nominations for the first annual Location Manager’s Guild of America Awards: Outstanding Location TV Program (for Season 5) and Outstanding Location Professional in a TV Program (for Location Manager Christian Diaz de Bedoya).

The competition in the first category includes Game of Thrones (HBO), Dexter (Showtime), Chicago Fire (NBC), House of Cards (Netflix), Grimm (NBC), Hawaii Five-O (CBS), NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS), Sleepy Hollow (FOX), Treme (HBO), and Wilfred (FX). In the second category, Christian Diaz de Bedoya is up against over 20 other nominees from series as varied as Sons of Anarchy (FX) to Modern Family (ABC). The LMGA Awards celebrate the significance of locations as critical components to character development and storyline.

Additionally, the Albuquerque Film Commission has been nominated for Outstanding Film Commission for its work for Breaking Bad and other shows filmed in Albuquerque, NM.

The winners will be announced on Sat., Mar. 29 at the WGA theater in Beverly Hills.
