Breaking Bad Editor Kelley Dixon Receives ACE Eddie Nomination

The American Cinema Editors society today announced their nominees for the 61st Annual ACE Eddie awards honoring excellence in film and television editing, and Breaking Bad editor Kelley Dixon has been honored with a nod in the Best Edited One-Hour Series for Commercial Television category. The nomination is Breaking Bad‘s third consecutive, with editor Lynne Willingham having received two nominations and wins for her work on Seasons 1 and 2.

Dixon, who was nominated for Season 3 Episode 6, “Sunset”, will face stiff competition for the award: Friday Night Lights‘s Mark Conte; Glee‘s Bradley Buecker, Doc Crotzer, Joe Leonard and John Roberts; and Hunter Via from AMC’s own The Walking Dead are also nominated.

The awards will be presented during a ceremony on Feb. 19 at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
