Bryan Cranston Nabs Screen Actors Guild Nomination

This morning the nominees were announced for the Screen Actors Guild Awards, and Breaking Bad‘s Bryan Cranston was honored with a nod in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series category.

Cranston’s nomination — his second such — is one of four snagged by AMC, which also received nods for Mad Men in the Best Performance by a Female Actor (Elisabeth Moss), Best Performance by a Male Actor (Jon Hamm), and Best Ensemble Cast categories.

Competing with Cranston and Hamm for the Best Male Actor award are Boardwalk Empire‘s Steve Buscemi, Dexter‘s Michael C. Hall, and House‘s Hugh Laurie.

The awards will be presented during a ceremony simulcast live on TNT and TBS on Sun., Jan. 30, at 8PM | 7C.
