It’s been a big couple of days for Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk: Sunday night, he took home the Critics’s Choice Awards for Best Actor in a Drama Series and today, he was nominated for a Golden Globe.
“Your voting machine is broken,” Odenkirk cracked during his acceptance speech at the Critics’ Choice Awards. He went on to thank his wife and children before acknowledging the show’s cast and crew, from Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould for their writing to Michael McKean for pushing the boundaries of Chuck McGill, the bitter older brother of Odenkirk’s character Jimmy. For the second year in a row, Odenkirk was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama at the Golden Globes. His nomination was one of five total Globe nods AMC received, including four others for the limited series The Night Manager.
