Alfonso Gomez-Rejon (sometimes Alfonso Gomez Rejon, Alfonso Gómez-Rejón or Alfonso Gómez Rejón) is an American film and television director, actor, and casting advisor. He began his career behind the scenes and became a prominent second unit director for major motion pictures. Later he became the primary director for television advertisements and episodes of television programs. His television commercial director credits include American Express, Chevrolet (Super Bowl XLV day ad) and T-Mobile. His television program credits include several episodes of Glee and episodes of American Horror Story. Prior to and during the September 21, 2010 season 2 premiere (episode "Audition") of Glee, American Express aired a commercial for its Members Project entitled "Don't Be A Sue", in reference to Glee character Sue Sylvester who has no regard for the arts and public service. On February 6, 2011, Chevrolet ran several Super Bowl ads. One was a 30-second ad in which the cast of Glee was asked to be spokespersons for the Chevrolet Cruze.
