Whit Hertford (born November 2, 1978) is an American actor and writer. His mother, Carol, raised Whit and his two younger sisters, Chelsea (Major Dad) and Brighton (General Hospital) in Oak Park and Newbury Park, CA. He is the son of the late stage director, Bruce Hertford. He lives in Los Angeles. A veteran American character actor and writer. He is the co-founder (along with director Ryan Darst) of Sneak Attack films and wrote / produced / starred in their debut, Long Story Short, in which he plays opposite his longtime friend and collaborator, Nora Kirkpatrick (ABC family's Greek and member of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros) and also co-stars Matt Jones (Breaking Bad). In 2010 and 2011 it was screened at various festivals including: Ashland Independent Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, and DC Shortsfest among others. Hertford also co-wrote (along with Robert J. Gibbs) and co-produced Sneak Attack’s other short films, Elliott (which premiered at the Napa Valley Film Festival in 2011), and their first feature length film, Dreamworld.
