Rolf Saxon

Rolf Saxon (born 1955), is an American actor living in London. Saxon was born in Alexandria, Virginia. He studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, England where he was awarded the Gold Medal on his graduation, and also studied acting at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, California. He has appeared in a variety of television programmes (Capital City, The Eagle: A Crime Odyssey), films (Mission Impossible, Saving Private Ryan), and plays (Lost in Yonkers, The Price). He is the North American Narrator for the Telletubbies and is best known as the voice of George Stobbart in the Broken Sword series of adventure games. In 2005, Saxon was awarded the Best Actor in a Leading Role Award at the Manchester Evening News Theatre Awards. Saxon was born at Fort Belvoir in Alexandria, Virginia. When his father left the army, the family moved permanently to California, and eventually settled in the San Francisco Bay Area. Saxon wanted to become an actor since he was in high school. As a result, he trained with the American Conservatory Theater.
