Jillian Lee Wheeler (born May 25, 1991 in St. Charles, Illinois) is an American singer-songwriter and actress currently residing in Windham, New Hampshire. She is most notable for portraying Sara Markum in the 2003 film, Mystic River. Jillian attended Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, where she studied television and film, but has since transferred to Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts where she began pursuing a degree in Communications but has switched to Environmental Studies. Wheeler began acting at the age of tweleve in a small theater production of Annie, directed by Lynn Wunderli. In 2001, Wheeler made her debut at the San Jose Repertory Theater in the play By The Bog of Cats alongside Holly Hunter. Her role in the play earned her a Dean Goodman Choice award for Supporting Actress. She also appeared in another play The Mandrake Root with actress Lynn Redgrave. Her film credits include the 2003 film Mystic River, the animated film Osmosis Jones and the horror film Little Erin Merryweather. Wheeler has released three recordings. In 2003, she released an EP titled Test of Time at the age of twelve.
