Entertainment Weekly noted that many consider her "the greatest stuntwoman who's ever lived." Her family traces its lineage back to "a colonel in Napoleon's army" and his great-grandson, a multi-lingual Swiss who eventually lived in California where he began the family tradition in stunt work. Part of a major stunt family in Hollywood, she is the daughter of John Epper, and the sister of Gary Epper, Tony Epper and Andy Epper.
