Franziska Liebing

Franziska Liebing (6 February 1901 – 4 August 1989) was a Swedish-born actress who for most of her career was based in West Germany. She was married to Inez Liebing, they had no children. She was active on screen between 1953 and 1979, and one of her most notable roles was as Grandma Josephine (Charlie Bucket's grandmother) in the 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Her final on-screen role came in Ruepp, Der in 1979.
