Clifford David is an American actor born in Toledo, Ohio on June 30, 1938. He is recognized for his many Broadway, film and television performances. Clifford David was featured in the principal casts and on the original cast albums of such hit Broadway musicals as Wildcat with Lucille Ball, 1776 with William Daniels, Alan Jay Lerner's On a Clear Day You Can See Forever and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. His extensive theater credits also include The Aspern Papers, Camino Real with Al Pacino, Joan of Arc with Dorothy McGuire, and Nine with Raul Julia. He appeared in Joseph Papp’s production of Hamlet in Central Park and has starred regularly in many regional theater productions. His feature film credits include M. Night Shyamalan's Signs with Mel Gibson, The Exorcist III with George C. Scott & Jason Miller, Fort Apache, The Bronx with Paul Newman and The Betsy with Laurence Olivier and he portrayed Beethoven in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure.
