This is the lowest blow of all: Meet Nancy Perkins (Sandra Harrison), a pretty teenager just like Buffy… at least, until Nancy lost her mother, got shipped off to boarding school and became the gothed-out plaything of an evil vamp. But Buffy still wins in the end. Did you ever doubt it?
