Developing Leaders for the Customer-Centric Firm

Leading global firms view customers as assets and invest in developing those who manage them. To be successful in the role, today’s global customer managers must have high analytical and conceptual abilities that enable them to recognize and define customer issues. They also require the ability to advocate a point of view to multiple levels of the customer organization and to build a commitment within that organization that leads it to take action on issues relating to the future wallet.

The Global Account Manager Certification Program (GCP) is designed to develop these abilities. Created through a partnership between Columbia University, St. Gallen University and AMC, the GCP is a four-week, dual-certification program that transforms high-potential account managers into true global business leaders.
